    JK Rowling has made a generous donation to the reconstruction of the Aberfeldy town hall, located near her town. JK declined to announce how much she donated. According to The Courier, Locus Breadalbane has submitted plans to renovate the building into a 182-seat venue for music and drama. Along with her donation, which has been confirmed by a spokesperson for Rowling, a thrift shop has recently raised £1300 (about $2,115) for the cause.
