Rowling herself has acknowledged how much she owes to the Potter series for her love of the genre, reflecting this week that “the Harry Potter series is six whodunnits and one whytheydunnit in disguise.” But the nature in which she chose to write such a novel was certainly unexpected – a novel written and published under the male pseudonym Robert Galbraith and a secret to which very few were privy. The crowd rushed to where members of Dumbledore’s Army were rumoured to have been, their desperation to see the wizard that is still called the Chosen One very apparent. There was a bunch of stuff before that I vaguely think was about people at work, and someone saying quite urgently, “No, no, come look at this,” when I was in the bathroom stall. And in my dream someone had cast a spell on Harry that turned him into a bearded dragon, but only for short periods of time. When the spell wore off he’d turn back into himself. The dream ended abruptly…
